The Central Library Of Abbes Laghrour University Was Established For The Pride Of Khenchela With The Establishment Of The University Center Of Khenchela. This Is According To Executive Decree No.: 01-278 Dated: September 18, 2001. After It Was In Its Early Beginnings, It Was A University Attaché Affiliated To The University Of Batna. Where The Central Library Of The University Is Located In The University Complex In Hama, Oum El Bouaghi Road, About 600 Meters Away From The Central Administration Of The University, And It Occupies An Area Of (900 Square Meters). It Consists Of Four Floors And Contains A Group Reading Room And Two Individual Reading Rooms, In Addition To The Bibliographic Research Room, The Internet Hall, The Lending Bank And The Store. The Central Library Is An Important Pedagogical Pillar For The Student. Therefore, The University Has Attached Great Importance To It, As It Is Constantly Being Strengthened, Meaning That It Has Its Own Budget In Each University Season, For The Purpose Of Acquiring The Latest References And Books That Are In Line With The Pedagogical Decisions For Students, Available In The Algerian Market, Whether By Publishing Houses Or Distributors At The National Or International Level. 
