Ecology and environment department

The Department of Environmental and Ocean Sciences is considered one of the divisions in the field of natural and life sciences at Abbas Lagharour Khenchela University. It grants students a pedagogical and scientific training in the field of environmental sciences in line with future goals. At the end of their training, graduates will be able to intervene on any environmental problem related to water by predicting the impact, diagnosing the situation or intervening on remediation. Their interventions will cover various aspects, in particular those related to the physico-chemistry and biology of the environment: water and soil pollution, waste management, as well as the different uses of water in terms of quantity and quality for different purposes.
