Assessment and control of knowledge

Assessment of the student's acquisition of different knowledge and skills is necessary for the various subjects consisting of academic units (primary, exploratory, and intersectional) hexagonal, whether in a continuous and regular monitoring method, through a final examination, or by reconciling the two methods. At the beginning of each semester, higher education institutions must announce all the tests in terms of their number, their nature and duration, the approved control methods, and the weighting applied. We note that this evaluation process takes place in two courses for each semester. The evaluation of the acquisition degree of the student in different knowledge and skills is necessary for the different subjects of the teaching units (fundamental, discovery, and transversal)in each semester, whether by continuous and regular control or through a final examination or by combining the two methods, bearing in mind that the continuous monitoring method is preferred.

Standards of Success and Passing

Success and Passage Standards: The LMD system is based on the methods of success and passage design on many principles, including the compensation principle, the passage principle, the catch-up, and the acquisition principle

The teaching unit

The student is considered as admitted in a teaching unit (fundamental, discovery, or transversal) if the total marks obtained average in the subjects which compose it and weighted by its coefficients is equal to or more than 10/20. Success in a teaching unit given in a previous way means the acquisition of its allocated credits, it is therefore a teaching unit definitively acquired in the training course concerned and transferable to any other training course which includes it. By acquiring the teaching unit, the student has obtained all the materials that make up this unite

Second: the educational semester

The student is considered to have obtained the semester if he obtains all the teaching units that make it up (fundamental, discovery, or transversal) in thee manner mentioned above.

The semester also can be obtained through the principle of compensation between the various educational units that make it up by calculating the general average based on the rates obtained in the educational units that make up the sixth and weighted by their transactions so that the sixth becomes obtained if the general rate is equal to or more than 10/20, but if this The average is lower than that, as the student sits for the exams related to the second cycle (the remedial course) in the subjects or units not obtained without adjusting the continuous observation marks, noting that he keeps the subjects in which he gets a rate of 10/20

It must be recalled that the first passage from the first semester to the second semester of the same academic year and in the same field is considered a right for any registered student who continues studies.

Third: the academic year:

The transition from the first to the second license year is considered an asset for the student who has obtained the two semesters (first and second) of the same training course. It is also allowed to pass from the first year to the second for each student who obtains at least thirty (30) credits, of which at least 1/3 in one semester and 2/3 in the other semester. (Covid is subject to special arrangements)
In all cases, a student enrolled in Bachelor's Degree cannot be allowed to stay for more than five years even if re-directed, while a student receiving 120 or more credits may be permitted to re-enroll for an additional year, exceptionally

As for the transition from the second to the third bachelor year, it is acquired for each student who obtains the four semesters of the training course with or without compensation. The student is also entitled to move from the second to the third bachelor year if he obtains at least 90 credits and acquires the teaching units previously required to continue his studies in the specialty. (Covid is subject to special arrangements

This allows students who are not accepted to move to the second or third year in the relevant training field, depending on the case, either by re-registering in the relevant field or track, or by directing towards another field or training track according to the specified conditions.

Obtaining the Master's degree

The transition from the first to the second year of a master's degree is considered a right for the student who has obtained the first two semesters of the training course.

Students are allowed to move from the first year to the second year of their Master's if they receive at least forty-five (45) credits and receive conditional educational units to continue studies in the specialization. (The Covid period is subject to special arrangements) Under the conditions of continuity mentioned in the paragraph mentioned above, the student is permitted to graduate in his formative course and retain the acquired materials. In this case, forcing or exempting the student from following the courses, tutorials, and practical work related to the non-acquired subjects is under the authority of the composition team

According to the conditions of passage mentioned in the paragraph above, the student is authorized to progress in his training course, and to keep the acquired subjects. In this case, the obligation or the exemption of the student to follow the courses, tutorials, and practical work related to the non-acquired subjects is under the authority of the training team..

The composition team can, as the case may be, allow a student who has not been able to move to the second year in the composition course to re-register in the same course or direct it toward another composition course. As far as possible, priority is given to the process of mentoring students who are in failure within the course of training

This process should lead through the crossings of an individual path construction corresponding to the student's abilities that would allow him to advance better in his academic path.

In any case, a student enrolled in a master's program cannot stay for more than three (3) years.
